Se anche voi come noi avete visto lo stupendo cartoon della Pixar Inside Out, sarete sicuramente rimasti incantati dalla dolcezza del cortometraggio Lava (video), diretto da James Ford Murphy, che proiettano prima del film. Il corto racconta la storia di due vulcani, Uku e Lele, che sognano, a ritmo di musica, un amore che sembra impossibile. A dare voce ai due protagonisti, che intonano la bellissima e dolce canzone in lingua italiana, sono Giovanni Caccamo (vincitore dell’ultimo Sanremo Giovani con Ritornerò da te) e la splendida Malika Ayane, che cantano la canzone scritta da Jon Brion.

Il cortometraggio musicale Lava, interpretato da Malika Ayane e Giovanni Caccamo, precederà nelle sale il film Disney Pixar Inside Out, diretto dal regista Pete Docter, nelle sale italiane dal 16 settembre.
“La musica è il cuore e l’anima di LAVA; il suono dell’ukulele dà il ritmo all’intera storia. Il talento di Kuana Torres Kahele, narratore e voce del protagonista Uku, contribuisce a dare al personaggio una personalità unica che attinge anche alla mia passione per la musica hawaiana e la melodia crea un’atmosfera perfetta per accompagnare le immagini, come i movimenti delicati di una ballerina di hula che danza una tradizionale musica hawaiana”.

— Klein: In assoluto una delle cose più belle che abbia mai visto. Questi 39 secondi mi hanno fatto tornare bambino.
— Alessandro D.: Secondo me doveva finire in modo diverso. Quando la vulcana esce dall’acqua e lui affonda, lei inizia a cantare e lui torna in superficie. Secondo me lui non sarebbe dovuto tornare. Così come lui ha cantato per secoli il suo amore per lei (senza sapere dove fosse) lei avrebbe dovuto restituire il favore cantando per lui per secoli a venire. Sarebbe stato molto più simbolico. Un amore senza essersi visti, a distanza, ma comunque puro.
— Gioggiart: mi viene da piangere solo a leggere la tua versione, mi sarei ammazzata se fosse andata così!
